Making Bows...

I had a previous post where I made a patriotic bow for my little girl for the 4th of July family event we were attending this year. It was actually pretty easy, but I can't take credit for this awesome tutorial. I thought I would share it for all you crafty-moms. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHRgrc-C6g8 The great thing about this tutorial is it is completely no sew and you can use different ribbon colors and mix and match. The circled areas are just little cute wings you see in normal bows. This tutorial didn't have that and I loved how they look..so here's an easy fix on what to do. You basically just make a small x out of two extra ribbon pieces and glue them together at the intersection. Hot glue the bow onto that once you decide how you want the little "wing" pieces to stick out. The voila! I then glued an alligator clip to the back so I didn't have to do the extra wrapping of a clip- but you can do either!
