A few weeks ago I went shopping with little one to look at clothing ideas for the 4th without breaking our budget. When you are part-time and attending school- that really isn't an option. I tend to be a spend-a-holic- so I often find myself filling up my cart throughout the store only to make another round putting things back and asking myself "Is this necessary to have?". Trust me, if I didn't, we would be beyond broke!
So, if you join me in the crusade for discount shopping, you will be happy to find out that I was able to find a really cute outfit set for Maddie and for myself for under $21 from Old Navy and Ross.
I didn't realize until taking the picture that they are somewhat matching!
I later tested out my diy skills to make a matching bow.
Maybe this blogging escape will help from me being such a post hog on Facebook. Bow tutorial to follow for anyone who is interested, it was very easy :)
In my defense, however, I am a graphic design student and tend to enjoy making things :)
